Synopsis: SoftMaker Office 2006 comprises of a word processor (TextMaker) and a spreadsheet (PlanMaker). TextMaker reads/writes Word documents seamlessly (Microsoft Word .doc 6.0 to 2007), and comes with a built-in database and mailmerge function. PlanMaker reads/writes your files seamlessly (Microsoft Excel .xls 5.0 to 2007) and comes with more than 320 calculation functions. Synopsis: TerraIM is an instant messaging client that connects to the AOL Instant Messenger network. Thus, one can use TerraIM with an existing AIM, ICQ, or AOL screen name. It adds on several useful features such as offline messaging, tabbing, aliasing, remote control and logging, but currently lacks certain features such as buddy icons and Direct IM.
