An Important note regarding invoices:

It is assumed you will probably use Invocator to produce invoices for actual sales.  Invocator creates automatic invoice numbers in sequence.  Sometimes users are not aware that tax and accounting authorities will not approve of GAPS in the numbering.  Invocator stores invoices you create, unless when you click 'create' you say NO to the confirm dialog.  This is to allow you to PREVIEW the invoice. The invoice will not be saved if you didn't choose CONFIRM and the invoice number will not move forward.  You then have the option to click 'create' again to confirm, print and save.

When you first use the program, you will no doubt want to test it with dummy information.  We advise you to do this until you feel ready to start producing official invoices - at this point you can use the "wipe all" on the menu, then go into the settings and enter the invoice number you want to start with.  After that, do not change it again unless advised to do so by a qualified accountant.

Usage is very simple.  Most of the time is is just a matter of entering the customer details, then add invoice items, and final click 'create.  Invoice numbers are created automatically, the date always sets by default to today, and the invoice type will initially be the one you choose in Settings.  There are other points that need noting...  (continued)
